City Approves Resolution

The Perrysburg City Council has passed a resolution of general support for our inclusive playground to be built at Rotary Community Park at 26350 Fort Meigs Road in Perrysburg, Ohio. The resolution reserves the space for us as our committee works through the additional steps needed to finalize the space including engineering and permitting. This is a great step towards our goal of building in the summer of 2020.

Councilwoman Deborah Born stated her continued support of the project in a quote from the Sentinel-Tribune. “I support this resolution because I strongly support Mr. [Ryan] Wichman’s effort to raise money from the private sector for an inclusive playground; I have held this position since he first came to my committee last year"

To date, we have raised more than $350,000 out of the $825,000 budgeted through private and corporate donations and grants to bring the first inclusive playground to Perrysburg. Our team continues to work hard to bring an inclusive playground to Perrysburg so all kids have the chance to play side by side!

Thanks for all your support.
